Flamingo Frangranced Candle Review

Hi Everyone

Happy hump day, we are half way up the hill to the weekend!

Can I start by saying, where has this year gone? I seriously can't believe we are in November, it's true what they say - the older you get the quicker time flies.

I remember when I was a child a year felt like a lifetime and now, I blink and before I know it - Christmas is back!

I do love this time of year, family, mince pies, cosy nights in, and Christmas scents, which brings me nicely onto today's review - Flamingo Candles!

Forget Yankee these bad boys will leave your room smelling IN-CRED-IBLE all day long!

I was really excited to see Flamingo had released a Christmas Collection, featuring the following scents - Mulled Wine & Berries, Chocolate Orange and Vanilla & Spice.

As you can imagine, I was over-come with joy when I received my Chocolate Orange candle in the post! It's not Terry's, it's mine!

This candle combines milk chocolate and sweet orange notes, rested on a vanilla base - upon first burn I fell deeply in love. The scent is not over-powering, in my opinion it lets off just the right amount of fragrance.

These candles are packaged to pure perfection, making them an ideal Christmas gift!

Don't like the sound of the Christmas Scents? Never fear - Flamingo have something for everybody including Cheesecake Crunch, Strawberries & Champagne, Pear Drops, Apple Currant Crumble and many more!

These candles are luxury, and will burn for up to 50 hours - at a bargain price of just £12.00 you would be silly not to give Flamingo a whirl!

I honestly believe these guys are up there with the likes of Jo Malone & Diptyque, yet their products are 10 x more affordable.

Flamingo also sell scent melts (for £2.00), perfect if you would like to try before you buy.

Candles can be purchased at www.flamingocandles.co.uk

Don't delay, make your room smell of heaven today (Ok, slightly cheesy) !

Enjoy the rest of your week beauties xxx

Dream Dots For Spots Review

Hey Everyone!

Today I shall be reviewing a overnight spot treatment, called Dream Dots for Spots.

'Dream Dots' say their product is a unique super absorbant hydro matrix patch device that targets spots and breakouts overnight using no harsh ingredients, yet gives dramatically effective results.

I was really excited to try these patches, after hearing a whole lot of hype all over Twitter!

Within days of receiving my dream dots, I started to feel one of those nasty under skin spots forming on my face - for the first time EVER, I was really excited to be getting a spot because I wanted to put this product to the test.

I started by cleansing my face and patted it dry (as recommended), I then peeled off one of the dream dots and applied this to the blemished area of skin.

The patches are clear in colour, and they resemble the texture and feel of a plaster.

I was pleasantly surprised when I woke in the morning and found that the Dream Dot had stayed put on my spot throughout the night, I'm a real fidget and I was half expecting to wake up with the patch attached to my pillow instead of my face!

I then gently peeled the patch away from my spot, be careful though because they can be difficult to remove and you don't want to irritate the blemish further.

So the question on everybody's lips - Did this product work? In short, Yes they do work!

The size and redness around the spot had most definitely reduced.

I wanted to trail the product further, the box includes 24 dream dots so I decided to finish the box before reviewing so that I could give you an honest review that was tested over a period of time.

They will banish spots without using any harsh spot fighting ingredients, they will not dry out the skin, and these will allow the spots to heal without scarring.

One thing I will say is do not expect them to zap away your zit instantly, they are not miracle workers and in some instances I did have to wait between 4-7 days before the spot was completely gone.

I wouldn't recommend using this product if you need a REALLY quick fix, something like the 'Glam Glow Treatment Mask' will be more effective in my opinion however If your not a hurry to banish the blemish, I would say dream dots are the best (long-term) spot solution as they will allow the spot to heal in a moist environment, maintaining the ideal PH balance, temperature and hydration levels while sealing in repair factors, which leads to faster healing.

This product can be purchased on www.dreamdotsforspots.com, I have noticed they are also selling on Amazon for £6.95.

Have you guys tried these? Do you know of any other spot fighting treatments? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Big Hugs

Jakey xx
